We are artisan roasters who believe coffee
should be both delicious and socially transformative.
Our beans are supplied by small farmer-owned, fair trade cooperatives that guarantee proper wages, biodiversity, and traditional farming practices. Supporting these coops is crucial to ensure a healthy environment and viable rural communities. Best of all, small-scale agriculture results in a higher-quality bean.
Give any of our roasts a try and you will discover a full spectrum of flavors – from the delicate floral aromas of the Rwandan to the sparkling brightness and milk chocolate of the Guatemalan to the bittersweet in our darker roasts.
These qualities are inherent in the raw beans, but it's only through very intentional roasting that they are preserved and highlighted. We capture these subtleties by roasting small batches in our vintage (pre-World War II) German roaster, followed by meticulous tastings around our cupping table.
